Level 3 First AID at Work (3 Day)

Upon successful completion, the level 3 First AID at work enables the candidates to become trained first aiders for the workplace following the lines of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. If an employer feels the need for first-aiders at the workplace, they should ensure they are equipped with the proper training needed to cope with novel situations. This course imparts practical skills on the one hand whereas focuses on building up the knowledge base, on the other hand, making you ready to deal with first aid emergencies.
The course provides the same qualification as St Johns and the Redcross, focusing on training for emergency and non-emergency situations. The course has two days of duration, including long-distance learning, with a cost of £179.99 (No hidden cost). The course timing is between 10:00-18:00. Aspirants with a minimum age of 16 can apply for the course.
Once the training is completed, an assessment exam is conducted that includes a written exam and continuous observation. The results are available within 7-8 working days of the exams and the assessment. The First Aid at Work Level 3 certificate will be awarded to the successful candidates, enabling them to start working immediately.

  1. The roles and responsibilities of a first aider
  2. How to assess an incident and conduct a secondary survey
  3. How to assess an unresponsive casualty
  4. How to manage a casualty who is bleeding (severe and minor) or in shock
  5. How to manage a casualty with injuries to bones, muscles, and joints or with suspected head, spinal injuries, and/or chest injuries
  6. Seizures, choking, fainting, and asthma
  7. Burns, scalds and poisoning
